Synapp North’s TrackIt application is an effective tool in allowing employees to document and track concerns and issues. Concerns are entered into TrackIt by a user and an email is generated and sent to the individual responsible for concerns in a specific area/category.
That individual responsible for taking care of the concern can then respond or assign the concern to a person(s) to ensure that the issue gets resolved.
The entire process is tracked step-by-step through emails. Employees can search for concerns and follow their progress from start to completion inside of TrackIt through their own email account or through the My Concerns tab inside of TrackIt.
Submitting concerns in TrackIt is easy and fast. Simply fill in a few fields in TrackIt and based on the category and location you choose, the appropriate person will be notified to take care of it.

This process is automated when using Audit, Management of Change, or eLogger. Concerns can be generated automatically from these software packages.
Individuals responsible for taking care of these concerns can assign others to help if needed. The progress of each individual assigned is tracked separately through TrackIt so if there’s a holdup, you’ll know where it is. Meanwhile, the originator of the concern is notified every time the status of the work changes. When the work is complete, the status changes are also communicated back to the system they were generated in (i.e. Audit, MOC, or eLogger).
TrackIt has the ability to send Reminder Emails to insure concerns are completed in a timely manner. Emails go out based on their priority and current disposition. This insures that high priority items get taken care of as quickly as you decide they should be done.

Once a concern has been completed, the originator is notified via email and the status information is passed back to the system that generated the concern.
From one page, you can build your own queries.
- Which area in the facility had the most concerns last month?
- How many past due concerns are currently out there?
- Which category is being used the most?
- How many concerns are generated from the MOC system? Or eLogger? Or Audit?
